My official results:

  • 13 laps in the pool = 650 yards
  • 6.4 miles on the stationary bike
  • 20 laps on the indoor track = 2 miles

Have I mentioned that I love this stuff!

Just to be clear, I’ve had two races and two last place finishes, my season can only get better from here right?

]]> http://www.dashaun.net/2010/03/09/its-official-i-was-last-place-again/feed/ 0 Chafing http://www.dashaun.net/2010/03/08/chafing/ http://www.dashaun.net/2010/03/08/chafing/#comments Mon, 08 Mar 2010 12:56:04 +0000 admin http://www.dashaun.net/?p=106 I have only once dealt with chafing on my nipples, it was a new shirt that hadn’t been washed yet and was a little scratchy.  This weekend I learned how seriously uncomfortable chafing could be.  Today the inside of my legs have 2×2 patches that look like and feel like red sandpaper.  The burning sensation is like somebody poured Tabasco sauce on an open wound.  On top of that, a quick Google told me that “..chafing is a signal that it is time to lose weight” which made it even worse.  I’m over twenty pounds lighter than I was this time last year.  It’s becoming more and more obvious that the scale isn’t telling the entire story.
