Whitney had one of her biggest meets this weekend. It was held in Columbia at the University of Missouri. It had talked to my sister on Friday night and Whitney was having a good meet. I woke up early to drive out and catch as much of the session as I could. The entire meet was full of PRs. I’m happy I was able to be there for part of it.
The ride out was surprisingly enjoyable. I got there in time to see 4 of the 5 events. She set PRs in all of the individual events and the relay team beat their seed time easily.
After the meet, we picked up a Mizzou t-shirt. I figure its never too early to start pointing my 9 year old niece towards a good college. Am I right? Then we went to grab some lunch before I headed back to KC.
It was a three day event. So there is much more to report on. I’ll do my best to keep Whitney’s website updated.
