I finally got in touch with Geoff P.  (The guy that beat me by 18 minutes for second to last place in the 10-mile trail run.) I suggested to hi that he share his race schedule for the season so I might even the score.  Well as luck would have it, he is doing not one, but two of the races on my race schedule.  I have a few coworkers that have worked with Geoff in the past.  I’ve been getting enough slack about the 10-mile run as it is.  If I don’t even the score, I might not be let back into the office.

My good buddy Steve M.  Not only my buddy, but a person that I look up to personally as well as professionally.  In fact, Steve is a big part of my renewed interest in racing.  (That’s probably a good post for later…)  Well, Steve just started working at Garmin!  Garmin is an awesome company head-quartered here in Kansas City.  Their GPS products are a big part of endurance racing and Steve now gets to enjoy working on the software that houses data from GPS devices.  Yay Steve!
